WW - Omega Speedmaster MK40 triple calendar chronograph, ref 3520.53, automatic, 39mm x 45mm to lug tips, 18mm lug width, original stainless steel snap back case with black tachymeter bezel and round pump pushers, black leather rally style strap, original gray dial with luminous painted Arabic numerals, date scale along perimeter in white, day-month aperture at 12, three inset subregisters for minute recording, hour recording and subsidiary seconds with 24 hour scale broken up into blue and black for day and night, 25J cal 1151, s#55488291, triple signed. Includes original inner and outer boxes as well as unsigned paperwork and extra links to a bracelet that is not included. The MK40 in recent years has had quite a surge in collectiblity which is in no small part due to Hodinkee.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, chronograph and calendar function and reset properly, mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide; flawless dial; mint hands; polished case shows very little wear, several dings on case back from someone trying to get into the case unsuccessfully; original Omega signed crown shows hardly any wear; good sapphire crystal. Inner and outer boxes shows very little wear.
